ROYAL GARRISON MEMBERSHIP RULES

 

— Members MUST be able to operate completely independently in both ranges. Members must follow the posted safety rules at all times.

— All Members MUST have their own archery equipment that falls within Royal Garrison safety restrictions (please see the Equipment Restrictions page on the website).

— Members MUST submit all gear to a safety check before first use on the range. 

— Members are not permitted to store any personal equipment on site. The Royal Garrison takes no responsibility for lost, stolen, broken or misplaced gear.

— Alcohol is NOT permitted in the throwing range outside operating hours or when no member of the Royal Garrison staff is on-site. Alcohol is STRICTLY PROHIBITED in the archery range at all times. 

—Drugs are STRICTLY PROHIBITED in the facility.

— Smoking is STRICTLY PROHIBITED in the facility.

— DO NOT THROW IN THE ARCHERY RANGE. DO NOT SHOOT IN THE THROWING RANGE. For archery, this is considered the use of a firearm in a prohibited space and is illegal under Canadian law.

— Members are required to check the calendar for availability before coming in to use the ranges.

— The ranges are shared spaces. Shoot and throw to pace with those around you. Be respectful of any and all users. When in doubt, please refer to the code of conduct posted by the office.

—When Members are on the Shooting Line, the Archery Range capacity increases to Ten (10) archer. Two (2) archers per target. This includes when member guests are present.

— The Royal Garrison is a monitored facility. Members are NOT permitted to block, alter, or interfere with the cameras in any way.

— Members are not permitted to remove display pieces from the wall outside of business hours/when no staff is present. Members are not permitted in the retail section when no staff is present.

— Members must tidy up the ranges after use. Return all throwing weapons to the hooks. Tuck away any chairs used. Throw away all garbage and sweep up any large messes or spills. The broom and dustpan can be found by the throwing range.

— Do not mark, claim, or modify any of the Royal Garrison's equipment, targets, or facility.

— All youth members (under 16 years old) MUST be accompanied by an adult at all times, even when Royal Garrison staff is present.

— Members are NOT PERMITTED to bring guests in when no members of staff are present. There is a fee for guest use of the ranges. To book in a guest please email us at: info@theroyalgarrison.com to book your guest in.

— Members are NOT permitted to give lessons or instruction for profit or otherwise on our ranges AT ANY TIME.

— Members are NOT permitted to give out the codes to the facility at any time to any person for any reason. Do NOT open the doors to the facility to any person at anytime, even those claiming to be staff.

— Members must wear clothes and shoes AT ALL TIMES while in the facility. 

— Members are NOT permitted in the office.

— Members are NOT permitted to go into the Round Table for any reason outside their hours of operation. These hours are posted on the cork board in the hall way, and available on the round table website.

If in doubt, Royal Garrison Staff have final say. Violation of any of the above rules is cause for immediate suspension or revocation of membership!
