Summer Camps

The Royal Garrison in Guelph is proud to announce it’s summer camp series!

Throughout the months of July and August 2017, The Garrison will be hosting several youth summer camps for all ages between 7 and 16 years old. For a complete list of the camps and their activities please visit our EVENTS PAGE on Facebook.

We have a Robyn Hood, Musketeer and King Arthur camp for your selection. Each camp runs for 1 week and comes with lunch served.

Daily activities for the Robyn Hood Camp includes;

9am – 11am – Archery instruction and shooting practice (because Robin Hood was an amazing archer).
11am – 1pm – Lunch and strategic co-operative/competitive board game playing at Guelph’s amazing board game café The Round Table – A New Gaming Experience. (food options will be offered to parents during registration and before the camp begins to attend to dietary needs)
1pm – 4pm – Every merry ally needs to know how to wield a blade! Afternoons will be spent learning Olympic fencing. All equipment will be provided unless you have your own.

Daily activities for the Musketeer Camp includes;

9am – 11am – Youth throwing weapon instruction and open throwing. (we can’t shoot muskets but we can throw daggers!)
11am – 1pm – Lunch and strategic co-operative/competitive board game playing at Guelph’s amazing board game café The Round Table – A New Gaming Experience. (food options will be offered to parents during registration and before the camp begins to attend to dietary needs)
1pm – 4pm – Every musketeer needs to know how to wield a rapier! Afternoons will be Olympic fencing training. All gear will be provided unless you have your own.

Daily activities for the Camelot Camp includes;

9am – 11am – Archery instruction and shooting practice (because all Knights of Camelot need to know how to shoot a bow).
11am – 1pm – Lunch and strategic co-operative/competitive board game playing at Guelph’s amazing board game café The Round Table – A New Gaming Experience. (food options will be offered to parents during registration and before the camp begins to attend to dietary needs)
1pm – 4pm – Every Knight to be, needs to know how to wield a sword! Afternoons will be split into stage combat training and actual swordsmanship training using practice swords.

Registration;

Registration takes place every Tuesday and Wednesday from 6-8pm at the Royal Garrison starting May 9th. Our location is 28 Essex Street, Guelph ON, N1H 3K8.  Registration fees are $300/youth +HST (includes equipment usage, lunch at the Round Table and instructors time).
